SPOTLIGHT: Rihanna’s Clara Lionel Foundation

We are so excited to spotlight the Clara Lionel Foundation founded by global superstar, Rihanna. CLF supports and funds groundbreaking education and emergency response programs around the world. From their website:

We believe in the right to education as a weapon against injustice and inequality. Access to quality education is not only a basic human right, it is a critical component of a foundation for a more productive and happier life.

Climate change is resulting in an increase in natural disasters. Rather than just responding, we harness the power of philanthropy to help more communities prepare and withstand disasters before they hit.

Most recently, Clara Lionel Foundation was at the forefront of disaster relief efforts for The Bahamas, deploying immediate emergency grants to mobilize food and medical resources. They went further in announcing a plan to deploy an additional $1 million to help rebuild Bahamas. Check out their blog post for more.
